- Role Models - Summer courses
London’s specialist childcare and education provider, Role Models, is running a series of Confidence and Resilience Courses this summer for children in Years 3-4 and 5-7. The week-long courses will take place at various venues across London, including at KCS Wimbledon Senior School from Monday July 18th – Friday July 22nd, and at La Retraite School in Clapham from Tuesday August 30th – Friday September 2nd.
The courses are designed to provide practical tools to children who are perhaps changing schools, moving into secondary school, needing interview practice or would simply benefit from honing these life-skills.
Providing an action-packed and exciting learning environment, the courses cover many of those skills not usually nurtured in the classroom. As well as exploring what a ‘future leader’ looks like, the courses help to build children’s self-esteem and develop resilience through team building exercises, debating, public speaking and interview practice.
Prices start from £325 for the four-day courses which run from 10:00am – 3:00pm, including lunch. There is a maximum of 10 children per group and places do fill up fast, so it’s best to book ahead. Childcare vouchers are accepted on all courses and there is also a £50 discount on additional bookings for siblings or friends.
