Detergent free is the minimum that you should be looking for, there are many carpet cleaners recommended on here. You could search online for allergy safe cleaners, if no one suggests an option !!

I think that the hot extraction method of carpet cleaning without detergents will be optimal for your situation. A to Z Cleaning have a great carpet cleaning service, so you should check them out. This is their phone - 020 3404 3303
Don't forget to ask for a detergent-free cleaning, though. I think you can still ask them on the spot but tell that beforehand just to be on the safe side.
Good luck!

Elizabeth. As no one has any relevant commendations and at the risk of it being deleted shortly, may I suggest quickly taking a look at exactly what you are after !!

Admin, I know we've spoken regarding self promotion, so please feel free to edit my past post & remove website link. In all fairness, I'd say that I was answering a plea, from a 'damsel in distress' and no one else had a more appropriate place to point

Thanks for the feedback Elizabeth, I do have some clients on here but they're not on regularly enough, to chip in on topics !! Hopefully, they may cotton on and recommend me for such specific work, as anyone that charges for a task, becomes a professional ....... I'm more of a specialist

Elizabeth, Looked and it says trained by NCCA, I have done course so could also add that wording. Claiming to be a member is a different thing, displaying logo is also frowned upon by NCCA and they would take legal action.
In all fairness to Gary, there is nothing amiss,

Elizabeth. Fair comment !! I only list training by the larger suppliers as NCCA try to dissuade non members from mentioning them, as it could lead people to think as your friend did. If I listed every training course provider, that I have attended, that would be a whole page of my website. The spotting page on my site, was done when I was a member of the National Carpet Cleaners Association but as I am rejoining soon, I have been given permission to leave the page & acknowledgement. I shall be on my original member number and you do get logo with said number attached, that helps identify genuine ones.
Looking forward to meeting you, when I collect rugs next week.

Would appear that my own posts get deleted and anyone that commends my service, is deleted completely. Elizabeth has told me that she has had profile taken off and all posts deleted, just as she was about to mention my work today !! Last post was when she came to collect rug from me, for storage but can't be sure when they all went off, as she is packing house for moving.
Well done to admin at Nappy Valley, for making a Spanish lady feel so welcome in SW11, she feels utterly disappointed. She is a very thorough lady, as her searches proved and although she spent time praising the various bits of work I'd done for her, bet she spends longer relating this little episode

Chris - thanks for posting.

I'd rather you had contacted me privately to discuss this but seeing as you've posted this publicly I'm more than happy to reply on NVN.

As we have discussed before, NappyValleyNet constantly has to check reviews to ensure they are genuine. I'm not saying that we catch them all but we try.

The recommendations were, I recall, from a new user who only recommended you and no-one else. When this happens we do try to do a little checking as most "real" users will reply to a few conversations but in this case the users only seemed to shout your praises and repeatedly so.

What we then do is to email the user and ask if we can speak to them on the phone or exchange a few emails. Most "real" users are happy to talk and we have a quick chat and all is well. Most "false" users are unhappy to talk, don't reply to our emails and so we delete the thread.

In this case the email bounced back so the email address we have on the system is not "real" and this is the worst situation from our perspective. It could be a review "bot", it could be spam but I'm afraid we have to assume it's not genuine. I'm really sorry if this is not the case and it is a real user but when we have no contact details we have to assume the worst!

Because I know you think we've penalised you in the past for this sort of activity I then emailed again, checking the email address very carefully.

It bounced back again.

Because I knew you might be unhappy I screen grabbed the bounce back and it's below.

I'm sorry that you feel she's been victimised but I really don't know what else I could do.
