Painter and decorator needed Post Reply

Evening all,
Can anyone recommend a good internal painter and decorator? We have 7years worth of grubby finger prints to try and erase!

Hi Lynn,
Does he do other handyman work, as well? We need someone to help with plastering, pull out a shed in the garden, maybe pull up and re-tile/sand a floor and a few other bits and pieces

Just to say we've recently had Mick in to do some jobs (rehanging doors and a couple of other bits and bobs) and were very happy with the work. Very reliable/punctual too.

I would like to recommend two local guys that we have now used several time.
Philip and Lee are amazing painters, they are careful, are good to have around and not over the top when it comes to pricing jobs (unlike many others) they are able to offer advice on jobs and have actually saved us money on some things.
They did the inside of our house and now the outside. We've left the keys with them and they are very trustworthy.
I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them.

I'm using Radek all the time.
Good job well done. Reliable, started and finished on time. Last month he did exterior painting for us. the house look like new and value for money....But of course he is doing interior painting as well.

Hi - Just to add that we've just had Mick Blackley (07946 101636) repaint our 2 bed flat as well a fix some rotten skirting/ door frame resulting from water damage. He did a very professional job and was friendly and reliable. I'd be happy to add my recommendation to this thread.
