Part-time or flexible Legal Counsel, Investment Bank

Postby mn3ab » Tue Aug 16, 2016 3:35 pm

My client is a global investment bank looking for a legal counsel to join its small legal team in London. The working hours are excellent and would suit someone looking to work with a degree of flexibility or part-time, maybe a city lawyer returning from maternity leave?

You would be in charge of engagement processes for new matters and clients, in particular for restructuring deals. You would be heavily involved in the drafting and negotiation of engagement letters and confidentiality agreements and work closely with the deal teams.

The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years post qualification experience with a general corporate, banking or restructuring legal background from a top city law firm or have in-house experience.

Please PM me if you are interested!

Hello,

When I was reading your post, I was thinking that this is exactly the kind of job I am after!

I resigned from Norton Rose Fulbright in January just before having my third (and last!) baby. I've been with Norton Rose for 7 years, as a paralegal first and then as an associate in their asset and structured finance team.

I am now looking for a position in-house, ideally something interesting but which would allow me to see my kids in the evening.

This position sounds very interesting and I think I could be the perfect person for it, given my experience at Norton Rose and in various in-house teams (such as easyJet and PayPal more recently).

I would be grateful if you could please contact me at ec.chesse@gmail.com or on my mobile 07951230771 to discuss further this opportunity which could be a perfect fit.

Please let me know if you would like to receive my CV.

Many thanks in advance,
Emilie CHESSÉ

So sorry, I was responding from my mobile and I didn't realise I posted my message as public. And unfortunately it doesn't seem possible to amend it or delete it now!

I've also sent you a PM.

Emilie
