Mother's help/housekeeer required Earlsfield

Postby Gillak » Wed Aug 17, 2016 12:15 pm

I am looking for a part-time mothers help/housekeeper. Please pm me your CV if interested:

Outline of position offered:
Live out housekeeper/mother’s help to start 1st September

About the Family: Mum stay at home but unwell, undergoing chemotherapy, Dad works full-time

Having been diagnosed with breast cancer, I have just started an 18 week course of chemotherapy followed by planned surgery in the new year. Physically some days I am not well enough to leave the house or be of much help but at other points in my treatment I should have more energy. I am looking for someone who can “muck in” to help maintain the smooth running of the household and give me as much opportunity as possible to spend my “well” times with the children rather than managing the household chores. We are a warm and caring family and already have a lovely nanny and cleaner who we are very close to. The ideal candidate would need to be flexible to fit in and use initiative to see the little things that will help to ensure the smooth running of our house during this challenging time.

Children:

Boy 6 years
Girl 4 years
Girl 2 years
Boy 1 year

Days and Hours of work:
Monday to Friday 7am to 9.30am and 4.30 to 7.00pm
Potential for some weekend work in addition or flexibility with the above hours

Other help:
Nanny Mon-Weds 7.30-6.15
Grandmother Thursday to Friday
Dad Weekends and some weekdays
Cleaner Tuesday (2 hours in afternoon) and Thursday (4 hours in morning)

Routine:

2 Older children are at school
Younger children attend playgroup a couple of mornings a week plus other activities. Nanny/mum/grandmother will generally take them to these.

Household Duties
Preparing breakfast and tidying away
Preparing children’s dinner and feeding the children on the nanny’s days off
Preparing parents’ dinner
Preparing some food for the freezer for the weekends
We have a cleaner twice a week, but light cleaning in the meantime will be required and tidying up toys etc at the end of the day
Washing clothes, putting away and some ironing (our cleaner will do some of this)
Helping keep on top of shopping for the household food and other items as required. Using Internet shopping but may be required to go to local shops etc. How this is managed best can be discussed
Help bath and put children to bed with another adult if mum not available.
Potentially help with pick up / drop off of children as and when needed
Helping mum with general admin etc when required

Use of Car:
Driver not required but use of car could be available

Hello,

I'm a experient Brazilian nanny /mother's helper/ housekeeper who lives in Balham and is currently working for a British family Mon-Fri 07:30am-12:30pm with 4 children (B13, B11, B6, G4) at Honeywell Road (SW11) and in the afternoons from 01:30pm-05:30pm I'm working as mother's help for a French family of 4 children (B11, B9, G6, New Born Girl) at Bennerley Road (SW11). Unfortunately the British family has to change their plans and just because of this their need to let me go, but I have excellent reference from them. Now, I'm looking for a part time morning job, between 07am-01pm. Happy to send my CV and answer any question.

Regards,
Tais Lopes.

Hi Tais

We are a family of five living in Balham. Due to our working hours as we are both teachers, we need someone friendly, reliable, caring and good with children to help get our three children ready for school/nursery three mornings a week from the beginning of September.
Our children are six, three and one. You will need to help them with breakfast and to get ready for school as well as doing the school drop off by foot to two nearby locations in Balham.
You will need to work from 7.30-9.30am on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays during term time. Salary: £10 an hour
