Full-time nanny needed for two busy, happy boys

Postby jof1 » Sat Oct 08, 2016 3:22 pm

We're a Scottish family living near Clapham Common and we're looking for a full-time, live-out nanny to look after our two little boys (4 and 2).

Our 4 year old is at school full-time and our 2 year old goes to nursery in the afternoons. Job involves school / nursery drop-offs and pick-ups, cooking, feeding, dressing and bathing the children, doing children's laundry, keeping their toys and bedroom tidy etc.

Hours are 7.30am to 6pm Monday to Thursday and 7.30am to 1pm on Fridays (2.30pm in school holidays). Plus babysitting 3 evenings per month, approximately.

Excellent holidays and warm, friendly family environment.

Please get in touch if you or anyone you know is interested.

Many thanks. Jo

Hello,

My name is Nikki and I am originally from California where I began working as a nanny for a family for 3 years(b-1 years, g-3 years on start). I moved to Ireland in 2006 and while living there, I worked as a nanny for 2 years(g-6 months on start) before my husband and I made the move to London in 2008 where I have worked for various families since, with children ranging from newborn twins up to 5 years of age.

I most recently finished working for a family that I had been with for 4.5 years(b-5.5 years, b-2.5 years).

Some of my hobbies include: gardening, painting, cooking, antique markets and cycling. I think the key words that would describe me are: calm, patient, creative, funny and very loyal. I really take pride in my role as a nanny and the trust that parents have in me to look after their children, to keep them safe and to provide for them a loving and stimulating environment. My husband and I are big animal lovers. We currently have three cats, a handful of fish and a frog. Much later down the road, we would love to set up our own charity to provide animal therapy to people who have experienced PTSD.

Please let me know if you'd be interested in discussing the role further.

Regards,

Nikki

Hi Jo,

My name is Ruby and I am a 24 year old Australian with over 5 years experience caring for children between the ages of 0 and 12yrs of age.

Throughout my time as a nanny I have been solely responsible for children, and have also worked alongside both parents. I was with my last family for 4 years, and their children were aged 2, 4, 6 & 8 when I left, so I have had lots of experience working with children the same age as yours.

In addition to supervising, feeding, bathing and everything else that comes with caring for children, I have undertaken tasks such as washing, tidying, food shopping and cooking for the family. Furthermore, I did administrative work for the family in their medical practitioners office and acted as somewhat of a PA.

I am available to work full time, live out, until the end of January 2017.

After travelling for a few months I really miss working with children and would love the opportunity to do so again, wether than be for the whole 3-4 months I am in London or on a temporary basis. Please let me know if you have any further questions, would like to see my CV or references, or would like to arrange an interview.

Good Morning Jo :)

I am a Canadian, EMT nanny with 14 years experience. I have a patient and calm nature with bags of energy! I am creative and sporty - never letting a little drizzle get in the way of an adventure! I like to keep busy with classes, playgroups and play dates, as well as a good balance of quiet time and cuddles. I am local to Battersea and have an excellent understanding of the activities on offer in the area. I am a confident cook, and offer a wide variety of nutritional meals and snacks.

I have all the qualifications including having studied Child Psycology, Nutritional Therapy and Sleep Training. I also coach gymnastics (age 3-16), and am a children's Photographer. Needless to say, my passion is children!

Would love to chat further about the role!

Warm regards,
Shayna
