Toddler friendly hotel in the UK

Postby Mrsmac35 » Tue Oct 18, 2016 11:09 am

Hi

Can anyone recommend a toddler friendly hotel in the UK?

With excellent food and service, less than 2hours from London and with an indoor pool. Bike rental and an outdoor play area would also be a bonus, but not essential as we will be there in November.

Thank you

We went away for a weekend with our toddler last year to Ickworth House in Suffolk. (http://ickworthhotel.co.uk) It had everything we needed, good food, very children friendly and a heated indoor pool that was available all day (some hotels have restricted hours for children). The biking was excellent, it was the first real outdoor fun we had altogether since having the LO. They had a baby listening service at night but I wish we had brought our own baby monitor with us to cover the daytime nap as well. Cant remember exactly but Im sure its about 1 and 1/2 hours from London.

Hi

Check out the luxury family hotels chain. We've been to Woolley Grange (near Bath) and Moonfleet (bit too far for you - in Dorset) and they are brilliant. All the facilities for kids including crèche and baby listening and a bit of pampering for the parents.

They are usually in lovely grounds with wildlife and plenty to explore.

Have fun!
