Gas fire installation - bedroom

We have a Victorian fireplace in our master bedroom, and would like to install a gas fire and hearth, as well as have the necessary safety checks completed. Can anybody recommend a local company (not Chesneys)?

You can check out business listing sites like yelp, yellow pages, etc. From there you can find contractors near to you.

We recently used the London Fireplaces Ltd based in SW19. Reasonable prices compared to others I looked at, great customer service (they actually came over to view our fireplace to give us a quote rather than coming up with a figure out of thin air) and fantastic installation - quick and no mess. Highly recommend.
