Anyone found the perfect slippers?

Postby sparkletiger » Tue May 10, 2011 12:10 am

I'm on a mission to fine good slippers. Have been looking for ages with little success. Thought I'd found them in Australian sheepskin with good soles but barely lasted 6 months. Obviously need to be cosy and comfortable and reasonably hard wearing . Any recommendations?

I am a big slipper fan and adore my comfy Ugg slippers, like these pictured below, expensive but so worth it (I actually got mine in NYC so a bit cheaper there), mine are still going strong after two years, and I can happily wear them outside to put the bins out etc!

I was going to recommend the same brand. My Ugg slippers are so comfy :D and have lasted really well. I take them everywhere with me.
Bit sad I know :D

These slippers by PO-ZU have been highly recommended to me by a friend who write this article: http://www.treehugger.com/files/2006/12/po_zu_shoes.php. They sell another style http://www.thenaturalstore.co.uk/produc ... hite/36856.

Hope you find the perfect pair!

I swear by my slipper - gorgeous - expensive - but they are lasting! I have the house boots

I swear by mine too. Expensive, but the ones with the cork and rubber soles are good enough to walk out to the bins in the rain. OK, let's be honest, they have been round the supermarket on occasion too.... http://www.shoegarden.co.uk/b/23865/1/haflinger.html

I have UGGs too - slightly different to those above and think they are the BEST. They are the sheepskin / suede Scuffette.

Thanks for all the recommendations. Plumper for the Nordika ones and loving them so far. Will keep the various Ugg type ones in mind.

I have had many pairs of Nordika slippers over the years but have now moved on to Ugg (because I bought them in Oz where they are so much cheaper) . Nordika slippers are wonderful and last for ever! I am sure you will love them.
