Jan (in the old Lola Roja building) is finally about to open, it seems!

Hopefully the food will be worth the long wait, and they'll manage to attract enough custom to survive.

Looks like the new between the lines shop opposite the bread stall is really cheaply built, hope it doesnt turn out to be another xmas pop up. The whatever it takes sports shop (ex capsticks) looks absolutely stunning though! Really looking fwd to Jan too.

Tried Casa Manolo on St. John's Road today for the first time. It's a Spanish cafe/bar/tapas/deli. Great coffee, fantastic jamon boccadillo with friendly service too. They have late nights on Friday and Saturday nights.

They have a couple of other locations in SW London. What with Tierra Verde on Webbs Road we have some great Spanish options locally. #supportlocalbusiness

One definite, one rumour:-
Roderick Charles, menswear store next to Space NK is closing 'soon' according to the sign in the window.
Dove Butchers, rumour that he will be finally closing his doors in the New Year.

The cafe next to Farrow & Ball has been replaced by 'Park Road Kitchen' http://parkroadkitchen.com/ which is a rotisserie and deli. There is a small bar with stools that you can eat in and they run lunch specials daily. They also have an alcohol licence but I'm not sure how that works in that space. Still rotisserie chicken is one of my favourite take aways since my time in the States. Will pop back soon.

Made in italy seems to be taking a long time to open! Does anybody know what is becoming of the ex mountain warehouse on saint johns road? Builders are in but no sign or anything.

Bumping this. Anybody knows for the ex mountain warehouse shop?
On a separate note there seems to be a new Bayley and Sage deli opening between Iris and the honey shop on Northcote. That's super exciting, I love their shop in Parsons green. Seems that there are quite a few great shops about to open, Northcote road just keeps getting better. (And Jan was yummy by the way).

I might be starting a rumour here. I was walking by the old Roderick Charles shop and there were some workers outside looking at notes and pointing out things on the shop front. I took a peek at their notes and saw a mock up of a shop front of a Caudalie shop.

I hope the rumor is true about Caudalie. They have a shop in Covent garden where I had the most amazing facials in the past. Their products are also fantastic, natural and give you some great results. It would be great if they open their second shop on Northcote road !

Has Gardenia also closed down ? It looked completely empty on Saturday ?
