Please see attached a response from the Wandsworth Liberal Democrats, in response to Councillor Jonathan Cook's circular dated 3rd March, which you would have received through your letter boxes on the 4th March. IT MAKES VERY INTERESTING READING!!!!
The Save Northcote Library & Chatham Hall Options Protest Group also responded with the attached flyer which has been distributed to some streets.
Remember to sign the Petition www.change.org and Search 'Save Chatham Hall'. The deadline for signatures is 11th March for the Council.
There is also a deadline of 11th March, i.e this Saturday, for the Council questionnaires which can be filled out in the library or found online at www.northcotelibrary.co.uk.
Please also write letters of objections to the Councillors notably Cllr Cook, Dawson and Dodd.
Although Wandsworth has one of the lowest Council rates, us and Westminster, being their flagship 'low council rate boroughs', this really doesn't mean that the Conservative Council can simply just dictate to us. We feel that there is only one concrete plan for the library and chatham hall, and we want the Council to go away and come up with alternative ideas that would suit EVERYBODY and not just deprive the children of Alphabet Nursery of their precious playground. We feel the Council have not really thought any of this through.
There are also minutes from the Honeywell Meeting which make interesting reading. This can be found on our Facebook page Save Chatham Hall Playground and Northcote Library. Please join this group for regular updates.
Thank you so much for your continued support.
