I've just come home to find one of these stickers on our letterbox, very small, transparent, almost missed it. Took it off and alerted police via 101. The number on the sticker was the same which appears on the DM website which apparently doesn't work.

Same here. It appeared today on the letterbox - removed it and called the police too which advice us to check on the neighbours and alert them if they have one too. We are in Clapham Old Town.

I found one on my letter box last week, I was worried so called the number suggested by the bbc website and they said that I shouldn't worry, that so so many people have had stickers on their door and nothing has happened they are not even sure its linked to robberies at all anymore. he even suggested it never was?

I then looked down my street and everyone had a sticker !? Talk about subtle.

On top of that my house is very secure, I have a massive rottweiller and Im constantly at home as 38 weeks pregnant.
I think those stickers are nothing to worry about.

We got a sticker on our door this morning.

I'd been looking out for them and checking my door every time I went out.

There wasn't one when I went out at 9am but when I got back at 11am there was a sticker....and a few houses on our road has one too (but not all of them) so it appears that whoever was putting them on was very select?

What's the process now? Should we call police? Have they resolved the mystery of these stickers yet?

Yes I had one of these stickers and the number did not exist. Very worrying. :(

We had a sticker too. It was put on our door lock on Friday afternoon between 12-5pm. There were 3 of us in the house at the time so they are clearly putting these on all houses. Our house is very secure. I wouldn't worry too much. Just a good reminder to keep looking out for each other and be a bit nosy if something doesn't look right.
