you only get to vote for your local MP and unless you take to the street (and Fair play to you if you do BTW) you can only expect to meet and air your views with your local MP and he or she is your representive in parliament. So many people feel cut loose from their traditional parties at the moment and it is important to remember that Leaders come and go but your views gain momentum if you consistantly vote for the MP who will fight for your beliefs.
I feel strongly about certain things and I am basically going to vote for the person who shares my concerns.
Think about it in those terms and your concience will be clear and I bet you won't need to abstain.

Whilst I agree to a certain extent yourgardenroom the difference this time is Jeremy Corbyn being in charge of Labour does not want to play by the rules.
Even with 80% of his MPs tabling a Vote of no Confidence in him and his policies he still ignored them all and refused to budge - this is unheard of in modern parliamentary democracy!
I'm afraid a moderate and sensible Labour MP would stand no chance in opposing the addle-minded 5 year plan Corbyn, Abbott and McDonnell have in mind for this country.
