After June 8th, who do you want to negotiate Brexit? Boris Johnson or Keir Starmer? The clown or the statesman? But this isn't just about Brexit though May would have it so. It's about the future of the NHS and what kind of society we want to live in. Dementia tax etc says it all. If you are not one of the few - paying tax on income over £80,0000 - then you are one of the many. So don't be deluded. May hasn't got your best interests at heart - and she's punching way above her weight.
YES :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D

Totally agree we must have change ... Corbyn is totally untenable as a Labour leader.

Don't believe me?

Well here are the words of none other than Keir Starmer who had been quoted above by a couple of Corbyn supporters as Labour's saviour of Brexit...

“It is clear that [Labour] needs a much louder voice on the critical issues of renegotiating the UK’s place in the world and mitigating the damaging impact of our exit from the EU. It is simple untenable now to suggest that we can offer an effective opposition without a change of leader.”... Keir Starmer June 2016

See even Keir think's Corbyn is useless!

Since Theresa May became home secretary in 2010 total police numbers in England and Wales have fallen by 46,700 or 19.5%.

Vote for the candidate who most closely represents your views and don't even bother about leaders or party.
you only get to vote for your local MP and unless you take to the street (and Fair play to you if you do BTW) you can only expect to meet and air your views with your local MP and he or she is your representive in parliament. So many people feel cut loose from their traditional parties at the moment and it is important to remember that Leaders come and go but your views gain momentum if you consistantly vote for the MP who will fight for your beliefs.
I feel strongly about certain things and I am basically going to vote for the person who shares my concerns.
Think about it in those terms and your concience will be clear and I bet you won't need to abstain.

From Guy Dorrells "innocent and just curious" (yer right!) initial post, it seems to have been taken over by desperate Corbanista activists. Dont have the time to read them all but If JC gets in, which he wont, this country will be in utter major ****.

How anyone can still believe in the Tories is beyond me particularly after this week. We now have a PM telling us things have to change after having been herself, Home Secretary, the one person in charge of keeping us safe, for the past 6 years. Yet another complete and blatant whitewash of history and the truth. Has everyone seen the video of the Manchester head of police from a few years ago, telling her that she is going to make this country more unsafe if she cuts the numbers of police further, and she accuses him of scaremongering? Then you have Amber Rudd who got an independent candidate censored at her own hustings last week. A man who tried to tell everyone about her role in selling arms to Saudi and she got the chairman to ask him to stop, then take away his microphone. She actually sits there after having asked the chair, and watches him take away the microphone whilst everyone is booing him. The video is doing the rounds on Facebook. Astounding and disgraceful.

No but I have seen a video of Corbyn in 2014 saying "Supporting ISIS is not a crime".

It is amazing how many strong principles Corbyn has hidden in order to seem all cuddly and get elected!

Watch him being "strong on terror" here :D

I got sent this youtube clip introducing Alex Glassbrook the Lib Dem candidate for Tooting. Thought I would share for those who might be interested.

I would dearly love to vote for Lib Dems (I'm in Tooting) but sadly last time I did, they lost their deposit. I think it's better tactically to vote for Rosena instead. At least she seems like a decent person and will stand up for what her constituency wants.

Denwand, have you watched that video clip? As one commenter says, he is saying that expressing a political opinion is not a crime and the title is misleading. If you listen to it carefully he is daring to suggest that these madmen are reacting to actions of the West. This desperately needs to be discussed instead of the current knee jerk reactions and shows of strength we are seeing, which just aren't working. You think putting soldiers on guard at the Palace and Westminster as a show of strength for 4 or so days last week stopped Saturday night? Or banning the burka would? Of course not. The "lets go harder" on them approach does not seem to be working.
My cousin completed her Masters in terrorism last year and is supporting Corbyn for his belief in dialogue and his daring to understand the causes of political violence in the pursuit of conflict resolution.. you know, in her studies, this government vetted the reading lists that they were and were not allowed to read. They are not allowed to read IS rhetoric unless they go on a watchlist. They cannot get to the source to try and understand why they feel as they do, yet they are studying extremism. How are they supposed to start understanding how to counter it if they are not allowed to read first hand what these people are feeling in the first place? On this subject she says Theresa May is taking lessons from Series 5 of House of Cards.

I'm going Lib Dem but on terrorism, I cannot ignore the fact that she knows infinitely more on this than me and still supports the guy.

Whilst I agree to a certain extent yourgardenroom the difference this time is Jeremy Corbyn being in charge of Labour does not want to play by the rules.

Even with 80% of his MPs tabling a Vote of no Confidence in him and his policies he still ignored them all and refused to budge - this is unheard of in modern parliamentary democracy!

I'm afraid a moderate and sensible Labour MP would stand no chance in opposing the addle-minded 5 year plan Corbyn, Abbott and McDonnell have in mind for this country.

Regarding Brexit. The negotiating team should have been a cross party group or a Royal commission.
It should not have been a political movement once the referendum had taken place.
However, it should have been made clear that a simple majority would not be enough to pull us out of the EU and a figure of perhaps 60% in favour would be needed.
I am a leaver.

A hard Brexit will be an even bigger disaster for the whole country and that's what we've got in the Tories
