Hi,

Does anyone know of any weekend Dads groups/ classes? It would be nice for him to take the boys to something even if it was every other week/ once a month kind of things. Plus a couple of hours to myself

Might not be exactly what you're after but Under The Greenwood Tree cafe in Clapham does story time at 11am every Saturday. Not just for dads but still...

I'm not sure which area you are based but Earsfield library has a rhyme time session for dad's on alternate saturday mornings.

Surestart centres have a Stay and Play for Dads, Grandads and Male carers around the areas. Saturday mornings but it changes as to which centre you go to.

It's an absolutely beautiful shop full of gorgeous stuff and the staff are SO friendly, they can't do enough for you. Every time I've been there, my son has had a good go at trashing the place, and they don't mind in the slightest - in fact, they offer to hold him for a while and find new toys for him etc.

The surestart/childrens centre at figgs marsh,tooting/mitcham has a dads group every saturday from 11-1pm( my schedule says " A light lunch is provided!!") its all free & they do have lovely resources/equipment.free car park also.

Seemingly, the Church of the Ascension on Malwood Rd have started a Saturday morning dads' playgroup.
