Al Gusto is nice. One of the waitresses needs to learn how to smile, but the rest of the staff are lovely.

Ben's Canteen Earlsfield and St.John's Hill has Extract coffee from Bristol. If you're feeling a bit foggy have a Bloody Ben's Bloody Mary and one of the best brunches in SW London.

I really like De Rosier on Revelstoke Rd, near Wimbledon Park and also their new branch in Earlsfield. Lovely staff, great coffee, delicious brownies and the chocolate is absolutely amazing. Their chocolates are delicious too and also served in the Royal Box at Wimbledon!

This might sound far afield but as we are in the NVN reader's catchment I'd like to tell you about the Radnor Gardens Café just south of Twickenham round the corner from famous Strawberry Hill House. It has outdoor seating right next to a well maintained playground, is set within lovely park gardens that come with follies and all and all this just a stone's throw from the river Thames. The Radnor Cafe is run by a very friendly, efficient and caring team of two photographers who really love what they do and it shows! You will love their excellent coffee, home made cakes and ice cream. Here is their Facebook link: https://www.facebook.com/Radnor-Gardens ... 609744982/ Annabell, if you are coming down to the Strawberry Hill House Fun Day on 2nd July (I know you've been there in the past) then be sure to visit the café, Mike and Marcus will knock up an extra special coffee for you!

Brother Marcus, Brother Marcus, Brother Marcus! Can't believe nobody's mentioned it yet though I'm happy to keep it secret (weekend crowds would suggest the young hipster set has discovered it though). Great coffee, the best loose-leaf tea, delicious food, lovely owners and staff and a secret sun trap garden. Feel like a lottery-winner having this place as my local.

My vote is for Bad Bean at the top of Battersea Rise. They do great almond milk cappuccinos. They're also expanding their menu now too.

Most definitely Flotsam and Jetsam, great for adults and children alike and they are so tolerant of my toddler! The food is fabulous. But I don't think Nappy Valley would be the same without Skylark, hands down the best place for "toddler tea" as we call it. Wonderful, and exceptional service always with a smile.

Another vote for De Rosier - Garrett Lane branch opposite Cafe Nero....You must try their Hot Chocolate made from real molten chocolate in a variety of strengths from 60%,70%.80%...honestly the best I've ever tasted. :D
