Help!! I am pulling my hair out!!
I have a 36month old daughter who i tried to potty train this week in the usual manner, at home with stickers, reward charts etc but after a whole day of accidents she is now holding herself for hours even when wearing a nappy. I decided she was maybe not ready so have been putting her in nappies but she just holds onto her wee even when i sit her back on the potty! She is getting very distressed as she is obviously very uncomfortable and im worried she will get a urine/kidney infection. I can find lots of advise on toilet training but none have experienced a child who just wont go to wee!! Any advice would be grateful.

have you tried putting the tap on whilst she is on the potty and making water running noises? I sometimes do this when I am trying to get mine to go before a journey, normally works. Good luck
