We have had our children's nanny with our family for almost 6 years. We are moving away due to work & expanding family in August.
As such our nanny who has been committed and loyal for almost 6 years is going to be available for work from November 11th (earlier is possible if required). I had tried to convince her to take the plunge and come with us on our new adventure full time but she has commitments here in London and has kindly agreed to do the initial 3 months with us to help us transition and with the new baby and then return to London where she has family and a strong community that she is part of.
I am absolutely devastated to lose her as part of our daily family life but know she is going to help another family in the immeasurable way she has helped us/me.
A little but about Madee, she is from the Philippines and is a Mum to her own 3 (they are grown up now). She is gentle, kind and considerate with a good sense of humor and seemingly ENDLESS patience. She is always open to feedback and has seamlessly fit in to our daily family life. She is a TRAINED MIDWIFE. Not joking, when I arrived home from hospital after having had my second, she was waiting in her scrubs, I will never forget that. I was very green when I was first searching for a nanny - literally no clue what I was doing and Madee has really been unbelievable from the start, I have never doubted her ability with either of my children and trust her implicitly. She prefers to be a live out nanny and is incredibly flexible on start/finish hours.
We pay her middle of the range salary and (reach out to me for more specifics if interested) and pay her nanny tax on top of that (so fairly standard). We also pay for her ticket to go to the Philippines every 18 months or so to spend time with her family.
This may seem early to start looking on her behalf, however as she is traveling with us from August 19th I want to make sure that she has ample time to interview etc and meet the new child/children she will be caring for!
