Recommendations please - Servicing of kitchen appliances Post Reply

Hi

We have a few appliances (washing machine, dishwasher, fridge/freezer and oven) that need servicing and wondered if anyone could make a recommendation? Would need to be a qualified electrician / gas engineer??

Any ideas would be much appreciated - do other people do this as I couldn't find any other posts?

Why do they need servicing?

British Gas have a service contract where you can nominate which appliances you want included and then they come and look after those appliances when anything needs attending to. Their admin is a bit hopeless though as it usually took at least two visits to effect any change, one to look at the appliance and another one to fix it after they'd ordered the part.
