Hi,
I am looking for recommendations for someone to fit a new kitchen in my property, including replacing the sash window with a door (onto the garden), and opening up the fireplace/chimney breast to install the oven and hob in there. This is to replace the old kitchen units already there with a new configuration.
I am not sure if a regular builder will do or if any specialist skills are required.

It might be worth giving my builders a call as they are in charge of all of my kitchen refurbishments with my houses in SW London. Clive is in charge of the builders and they are all polite and lovely people to work with. Try 07966476862 and mention that they came recommended - it might help you get a space with them as they do get very busy. Their prices tend to be extremely competitive.

I would ceratinly recommend Hurlingham Developments who do full complete house refurbishments in SW Londonm so are used to taking out chimney breasts. If you speak to Andy on 07739 174360 and he will will be able to help out. He has some good recent projects that you can look at as well.
