Portugal in March/April Post Reply

Hi, we'd like to go to Algarve end of March/April but worried about the weather/windy conditions. Has anyone been during those months and would you recommend? We're thinking of staying at the Martinhal.

We have stayed at Martinhal towards the end of May and in September first week earlier. I found end of May still quite uncomfortably windy (and chilly in the evenings) for the week we were there, compared to September. and would hazard a guess that March / April would be even more so. friends who visited another resort near Martinhal in April this year had their vacation more or less rained out.

I would probably go elsewhere since there are better months in the year to visit the Algarve.
