We have just finished renovating Farr House (a family home)near Inverness which it is now available to rent for Christmas and throughout the year. The house sleeps 16 and is ideal for family gatherings.
It has a traditional feel, with open fires and a wood panelled library, but it also has all the 'mod cons' mixed in, including superfast broad band, underfloor heating, en-suites for every bedroom, an Aga and electric range, boiling water taps for tea/coffee and 3 dishwashers (a must!).
The house is set in private grounds with a tennis court and its own loch nearby, there is plenty of outdoor space with easy walks you can do with children (as well as pram friendly walks too!), or more challenging moorland walks. It feels remote and you are surrounded by dramatic hills and moorland, yet amazingly is on a 20 minute drive to the City of Inverness and a 30 minute drive to Inverness airport with direct flights from Gatwick.
Nearby attractions include Loch Ness, Castle Stuart Golf Course, Speyside whisky trail, Cairngorms National Park and Cawdor Castle to name just a few.
