Renting Dogs Post Reply

I am looking for a new rental in the SW area (very flexible on location!), we are a family with 2 young children (under 2). We have 2 dogs and wondered if anyone had any experience of renting with pups? Or renting in general in the area! How soon should I start looking? Will be looking for something new come September/October but the usual websites I would use have zero listed for pets welcome.

We are hoping for a 4 bed, unfurnished about £2500-3000 a month for long term.

We have done a few short term rents with our dog, generally all the websites initial blurb etc says no pets, but I contacted landlords or agents directly and asked. Quite a few will do it for an extra security deposit, and add terms in the lease about clearing up, noise, damage etc.
