My daughter is due to start in GS (year 1) Wix in January in the French stream (although I'd prefer her to be in the Billingual as I'm English and husband is French)

I'm really nervous, I'm finding understanding all the rules and stuff an absolute minefield.

Does anyone else have their child at Ecole du Wix and could you let me know what this insurance thing is?

I've never come across it before and when I search for pupil insurance I just get stuff for actual schools, nothing for individuals.

Just saw your message. Welcome to Wix school! ( I have a son in Y1bil and a daughter in Y5bil).
Have you found answers to your questions?

For the insurance, the easiest (probably 100% of parents do this ) is to take the insurance partnering with the APL (French PTA equivalent). The insurance is a typical French thing I believe.

Re. other rules - which rule in particular? if you have not found your answers yet by speaking with other parents and maybe parent representatives, do let me know and I'll to my best to find responses.
