Shaftesbury Park X Wix Primary School Post Reply

Hello Mums!!!
I am in a dilemma!!
I was offered a Nursery place for my son in two schools.
One is the Shaftesbury Park Primary School, the other is Wix Primary School which has just been renamed Beleville Wix Academy.
Everyone knows that at the moment Wix Primary School has a very bad Ofsted report but I believe that if the school was really bad it would already be empty of students right?!! At the same time the same Wix are being taking over from the Headteacher of Belleville which has a brilliant Ofsted report. In the other hand the Shaftesbury Park has a good Ofsted report and I haven't heard anything bad so far.

I am very hesitant to make a decision and I would like very much the opinion of all the mothers who have their children in both schools. Please, please, please, give me some advice.

Both schools not very good. I would go for Wix. Go and have a look at John Burns.

Any reasons behind that? What do you think isn’t good about Shaftesbury and Wix?

I really want to access the bilingual education stream as we are a half French family. X

Shaftesbury Park, my child's experience in the nursery was not great. I know it was a few years ago, but swearing was the norm there.
Wix, has struggled for years, but people keep sending there kids there, not sure why. What ward of Battersea do you live?
