Hello,
I’m an orthodontist. I work at ConfiDental Clinic on St. John’s Road. I only see patients privately there but if your child is eligible for NHS treatment I can treat her/him at our sister practice.
NHS treatment is provided for patients under 18 who have a high functional need for treatment. The NHS won’t pay for border line need or little need; functional need is one thing but aesthetic need is very subjective and a personal thing- so if you or your child aren’t happy with the aesthetics, then there is a need! ( and vice versa)
I hope my mumblings make sense! but if you’d like more information I work Thursday evenings at the above Clinic.
Good luck
Cleo
