The sitter is booked, and I'm working on calming my nerves about leaving the baby for the first time. Now on to more important matters...whatever shall we do?
Need a good restaurant rec in the Clapham Common/Northcote/St. John's Hill area. Baby is allergic to dairy, so that means I'm not allowed. So Italian and French are decidedly out!
Any suggestions!
My vote would be for Entree on Battersea Rise - it's excellent. Or if you want a good steak I would recommend La Pampa (also on Battersea Rise). Or how about Trinity in Clapham Old Town?
I'd suggest La Lola Roja...you will have lots of variety and be able to avoid dairy. Plus its quite buzzy to distract you from first time separation nerves
If you're a fan of steak, Santa Maria del sur on queenstown rd is the best steak I've ever had. For a fun place with a 1920s speakeasy vibe, try Blind Tiger next to Lost Society on Wandsworth rd. It's got great ambiance. Have a great time - you've earned a fantastic night out!
Thanks everyone! Santa Maria is booked up, so Lola Roja it is I think! Now on to what shall I wear? I think the answer to that is whatever I can fit my new giant (breastfeeding) boobs into!
Bit late. So for your second night out (believe me it will come) try Lilys, restaurant above The Frog, Clapham Common Pavement/Oldtown. Went there last Friday for my Birthday!!! Staff, service FOOD Amazing! Would recommend.
Have fun . .
