Mouse House Nursery

Postby Newtoclapham18 » Fri Apr 27, 2018 2:03 pm

I would like to hear any feedbacks on Mouse House Nursery? I had a good impression when I did the tour last month. My only concern is the lack of outside space. Do they go out every day as the headteacher told me? Are the specialist clubs in the afternoon good?
many thanks VT

Not heard anything negative apart from this from last year - might be worth checking they have improved their counting skills and not left any kids in the playground on the common

I would recommend it.
My eldest went there and now my youngest goes there.
The afternoon clubs are very good, they added a lot more ones this year, so a wife choice.
Going to the park - probably every day in the summer and twice a week in the winter I'd say. It's weather dependant, but I think that's a good thing as you don't necessarily want them going out when it's freezing cold and all children have colds.
Otherwise, I think their best selling point is the "curriculum ", they do lots of varied activities.
On the areas for improvement side, they have a high turnover of staff (I think fairly common with nursery teachers) , so it's really down to luck which key carer your child gets.
Good luck!

Flowermummy thank so much for your reply.

Good to know about the clubs, my daughter is ready to do more hours at the nursery and this is a great way to keep them busy.
about staff unfortunately we have the same issue now in a 'top' nursery in central London ( we move into the area soon) I think London life is too expensive vs Salary.
Thanks again !
