Looking for car pull Post Reply

Hello
I wonder if car pulling to go to nursery is common?
I don't drive and have to walk my daughter to nursery and pick her up every day and will be doing so until she moves to nursery closer to home at the beginning of December. I am looking for someone who would be happy to do a car pull during this summer (of course I will be paying for petrol and providing baby car seat)
Is this idea insane? Or is it something some people do?

Hi,
when we moved further away from my daughter's nursery an employee of the nursery offered to pick up my daughter on her way to work every morning. We pay her for each pickup and we provide the car seat and we also contribute to petrol which does add up but it makes life SO much easier I think it's worth it, especially in the winter months.
It's probably quite an unusual arrangement and we're lucky it has worked out so well but perhaps it's worth asking at your nursery if there's anyone who could help you out in the same way. Your nursery might also know of other parents you could approach who already drive their kids to school in the mornings.
