We are a friendly family of four, based in Clapham, looking for a enthusiastic, caring, professional full-time live-in nanny for our 2 boys, George, 2.5 years (Dec 2015) and Wilf, 10 months (July 2017) old.
Our eldest attends a term-time only nursery 3-4 days a week (school days) and our youngest will attend 3 days from January 2019. It is essential to have a full clean driving license as you will need to drive the boys to nursery.
Our current nanny leaves at the beginning of June (to focus on her Legal studies) and I return to work from Maternity leave at the end July. We’d like some one as soon as possible so they can feel fully settled with us by the time I go back to work.
The role is ideally live-in (double bedroom and bathroom shared with the boys on a separate floor). The hours will be aprox 7am-7pm Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday and 8am-6pm Friday, with 1-2 nights babysitting a week. We can be flexible about the hours on Friday. If the nanny was live-out it would be more like 45 hours a week, mainly on M,T,W and T.
We are looking for a highly professional career nanny who absolutely adores children, and has experience and enthusiasm with babies and toddlers in particular. The individual will need to enjoy caring for and educating the boys, cooking fresh meals for them and keeping the house clean and tidy. They will take a firm but fair approach to disciple which we will work with them on to ensure consistency across the family.
We have a housekeeper who attends 3 times a week so the nanny will not be required to do any cleaning, other than clearing up after themselves and the boys day to day.
Salary with depend on level of qualification and/or experience but is likely to be in the region of £400-550 net for live-in.
