Arabic speaking mummies

Postby monmonl » Thu May 05, 2016 2:25 pm

Hi,

I am originally Egyptian but grew up in Paris and have been living in London for almost 11 years. My husband is English and we have an 8 months old baby boy.

I am looking to meet arabic speaking mums in the area. I live in Balham.

Looking forward to meeting some! :P

Check out this thread:

If you would like your son to learn Arabic when he is older, I can recommend Al-Ahliah School of Arabic in Wimbledon: http://www.alahliah.co.uk/

Ahlan wa sahlan!
I put a similar post up about 2 years ago and it took a while to get a group of us together but we finally did it. We've got a whatsapp group going so message me your number and I'll add you.

Little update... We will probably be meeting up 3rd June in afternoon for a picnic, either in dog free zone next to bandstand on Clapham Common, or dog free zone next to skylark on Wandsworth common. We will probably decide nearer the time. Will keep you posted X

I would like to bump this thread. The group (which I joined) is still going strong, and quite a few of us have children going to the Arabic Club For Kids, which now have classes in South London on the weekend. I have just posted about the club here. Both the group and club very recommended! viewtopic.php?f=47&t=96559
