Cat Covered in Oil ! Post Reply

My cat came home this morning (I left him out last night as it was so hot), looking like he had been dipped in oil, as only his hind legs and tail were covered - I have a suspicion that somebody had ‘dunked him’. Tooting Bec area, anybody else had the same issue ? Cat owners beware !

Of course, it's beyond the realms of possibility that a curious animal such as a cat could have got itself into such a situation.
Im convinced that some cruel human kept giving our cat mice and birds to bring home.

My cat came in soaking wet and someone had stuck a toad in its mouth. (Fortunately the toad was still alive and was put back in the pond - twice). Perhaps the cat has visited a garage.

The cat might have walked into the oil and regarding the toad cats do bring in various things so might have picked it up and bring back in as a present???

Kareng4: I don't think it was intended as a present. The cat didn't bring it to me - it was the noise the toad made which alerted me!
