Nursery for 9 mth old nr St John's Hill/Clapham Junction?

Postby SJH Mummy » Mon Jun 13, 2011 2:38 pm

Hi there.

I am at the early stages of looking for a nursery for my baby (expected in November) and I understand for the good ones I need to get in there early!

Can anyone tell me the nurseries in my area that accept babies as young as 9 months old for 3-5 days a week.

Clapham Junction / St John's Hill / Northcote Rd / East Hill Wandsworth etc?

MANY MANY THANKS

Nervous Mum to Be :)

I live in the area, I know a few people around who have their children at Kids Unlimited (top of battersea rise close to spencer rd). And they are very happy with it sp maybe you want to check it out.

I have left my children at their nursery (Bridge Lane nursery by Battersea Park) even though it a bit further away now since moving here but didn't feel like changing at the same time as the house moving... Plus they are very happy there.

Hi,

My little one is at St Peter's Children's Centre in Clapham Junction. It's at the bottom of the WInstanley Estate, near York Gardens. He started at 6 months, and I think they take babies as young as 4 months.

We are very happy with the nursery, but more importantly, our son adores it and all the staff there.

I vividly remember that feeling of trying to get ahead on finding a nursery place before my baby was even born. I hope you find somewhere you are comfortable with - good luck with your search.
