I'm not "working myself up" Petal - why use language like that? Also, it's not for you to decide what's ok for people who pay private school fees to fork out, if you are not in that situation. £12.50 is a lot per person and some parents at the schools say exactly the same.

Hi - I know that the Trinity fields fireworks is on 9th November this year. It says on the website its between 6-8pm however as I will be an outsider watching from the roadside - this seems like a awful long time to wait in the cold with the kids - anyone know the actual time of the fireworks please? kind regards

Hi
I *think* 7pm.

And they're over quickly.

Best thing to do is book a table at Indian Ocean.

:)

Where are you seeing that? I have had a quick search and can't find anything relating to Trinity Fields Fireworks.
Thanks

And ticket prices for 2018 have increased again by another 20% to £15 - so are you really going to spend £60 on a family of 4 ?

Tickets are only available for parents at the consortium of private schools

Goldhawk is absolutely right BUT you can book a table at the Indian Ocean and stand outside with a drink watching 90% of the show.

I know some people who do this but it does feel a bit “NFI”!

And Honeywell school too, this year, for the first time.

Battersea Park fireworks are significantly cheaper though (£10 for adults and free for kids, vs. £15 for both adults and kids).

They have had to use an external organiser due to health and safety which has pushed the price up.
Battersea is on a different scale really so can be cheaper. It is fairly comparable to the price that e.g. St Pauls Church in Clapham charge (although that does include a moen's sausage if you can be bothered to queue)

I think there is also charity element and some of the proceeds will be going towards a chosen charity.

Thank you so much nannyS for your confirmation of the fireworks being postponed until today. However weather doesn't look too good today either!
