Postby ms_viking » Sat Jan 19, 2019 2:28 pm

Hello,

Can anyone recommend a company to measure, make and install good quality blackout curtains for a nursery?

Thanks!

Samantha Kirk.

Exceptional curtain maker and lovely lady.
Made 3 pairs of curtains for us so far - 1 pair black out - so good I can’t tell whether it’s dark or light outside. She’s coming back to do our other rooms.
Highly recommended.

Curtain Workshop on Balham High Rd, next to Tooting Bec. I’ve used them for shutters, curtains, black out blinds etc and they are great - highly recommend http://www.curtainworkshop.co.uk

I'd be very happy to quote for your blackout blinds / curtains. You can see some of my work on www.kirstykissellfurnishings.com, and find my contact details there.
Best,
Kirsty

I've used Kirsty Kissell who has posted a reply herself above and found her quality to be excellent so would highly recommend.

I would definitely recommend EA Wates on Mitcham Lane, they are a real institution - been there since 1902. And Emma, the interior designer, has awesome ideas. I've had about five curtains/blinds (most with blackout) sets done and a chaise longue. They are tremendous. Have just engaged them to do another room - can't tell you how much more I love our home now!
