Postby frananne » Mon Feb 25, 2019 11:45 am

Hi,

Can anyone recommend a good weekend Yoga retreat? In UK or anywhere in Europe?

Thanks

Hi, I went on a lovely weekend yoga retreat to Scotland with Yoga Explorers last May (https://www.yogaexplorers.com/)

Also check our Laurent https://yogalaurentretreats.com/ who is fabulous.

Sally Parkes also runs retreats nearer to London http://sallyparkesyoga.com/retreats/

We're hosting a 5 day Fitness & Yoga Retreat in Cyprus in April with Nell at Yoga Forever so if you fancy combining the both this could be a retreat for you, so do get in touch.

Hi
If you can manage a bit more than a weekend, I would highly recommend Manuel Ponce at Spanishyogaretreat.com. We love the combination of personal attention (usually 4-6 per group) with a beautiful town. Manuel is a great osteopath, too, so good advice freely available + optional treatments if you need them.
Only one thing which might not be too everyone’s taste - food is delicious and plentiful, with lots of choice at every meal, but it is vegetarian, so if you’re desperate for meat you need to seek a local restaurant.

Hi there - not Yoga but includes yoga moves!  I've been on a couple of really fab Pilates retreats with Jane Wake which has included Pilates, walking in the very beautiful Andalucian Hills and lounging by the Insta worthy pool soaking up the rays.  So want to go again this year but the dates don't work :(   Here's the link.

I would highly recommend anything with Norman Blair teaching. I'm a local yoga teacher, I've practised yoga for 20 years and that's who I would go with. http://www.yogawithnorman.co.uk/

Hi there,

I'm a Nappy Valley Mum who runs Weekend Yoga Retreats from my Farm House on the Isle of Wight.  We use professional teachers, offer holistic therapies and each retreat ends with a relaxing Gong Bath.

Our retreats are small (6-10) and hand tailored to meet our guests needs. We start with a Champagne Reception on the Friday evening and all our guests are offered a complimentary Tarot Reading!

Our Website is under construction but our Face Book Page has lots of photos and more details.

I can really recommend this retreat. I have stayed at the farmhouse a couple of times and it is the most delightful house and location which feels like a country home from home. Bonnie is the most thoughtful host and provides a wonderful,  warm welcome. The farmhouse has been decorated beautifully and is surrounded by a beautiful garden, orchard and Carisbrooke Castle. I had a great weekend getaway that enabled me to fully recharge my batteries in the tranquil and picturesque surroundings. I highly recommend. :D

I second the recommendation for Bonnie's IOW Yoga Retreat - a beautiful setting in an incredibly stylish home, wonderful teaching suitable for all levels, and Bonnie herself is a lovely, welcoming host, who makes you feel SO rested and relaxed, not to mention well-fed!  I will definitely be going again at some point.
