Educational Psychologist recommendations please Post Reply

Hi, has anyone worked with an educational psychologist in recent months, and would recommend?  GP didn't have much idea about someone good so looking for any personal recommendations.

We have used Dirk Flower of Flower Associates for quite a few years now with regards to our son.  You can find him at flowerassociates.com.  He's not the warm and cuddly type but we have found his insights and techniques very helpful.  He costs £186 per hourly session for a consultation.

You could try Carmel Durkin of Children's Therapies, based in Putney but she can do home/school visits. We sign post a lot to various people and I highly recommend two EP's

1. Batul at CF Pyschology https://www.cfpsychology.co.uk/ - they charge around £750 for a full assessment

2. Dr Joesephine Storek -specialises in ASD,ADHD and giftedness but assesses the full range http://www.thekensingtonpractice.com/

Do take your time to choose the right person as you can not undertake the tests for another 18 months once carried out, so it's worth waiting for the right person

Second Batul - she is amazing. £650 but very, very much worth it.
