Hi everyone. We are thinking of getting a housekeeper from July and was wondering if anyone could help with some information. Does anyone know what is going rate for the housekeeper and if they are self-employed? This position would be most likely temporary 3 - 4 months. I will have a newborn and will need help 2 -3 times per week ( 10 - 15 hrs) with cooking and some cleaning/ ironing. We already have a cleaner 1x per week.

Hi, we have a house keeper from MM Domestic Services- she is excellent - we pay£14 per hour. We do get invoices by the company monthly and do not deal with any NI ourselves. I can give you their number if you are interested.
