Ad hoc childcare over the summer

Postby Marce » Thu Jun 13, 2019 2:23 pm

Hello -- I am looking for some ad hoc childcare over the summer for my 4 year old daughter. It will be 2ish hours a couple of mornings / afternoons a week: we can totally set this in advance. I'd like her to do some semi-structured things but I'm no tiger mum ;) Someone who spoke Spanish would be a dream but this is utterly not necessary. Is there anyone out there who might be able to help? Based in SW18.

Keep your baby's skin clean, clean sweat regularly: Sweating is a way to reduce the body's natural heat, so if your baby is still eating, still sucking, still playing, still doing normal activities, parents will not need to worry too much when your baby is sweating a lot, just note: - Regularly wipe sweating for your baby, if your baby's clothes are getting wet, you need to change dry clothes. - Choose cool clothes, soft and absorbent material. - Drink plenty of water to compensate for the loss of water through sweat. Summer bathing for children once a day Photo: MH Check to see if the baby is playing too hot, or be in a bad position, if not, try to improve or move him to a more cool place. - Bathe your baby regularly once a day

Hi Marce,

I hope you're well.

Are you still needing some nanny care over the summer?

I live in SW18 and have grown up here nannying all my life, so I know my way around and have local references. I am waiting to start a new teaching job in the Autumn term in September so I am looking to do some extra nannying/babysitting until then. I have over 15 years nannying experience and I am a qualified Kindergarten teacher, so I teach children who are the same age as your daughter - my favourite age! I am trained to teach in both Montessori and traditional schools.

If you are still looking please get in touch and we can speak further, here are my details:

Best wishes,
Lauren
