Query: How to delete a post? Post Reply

Could anyone advise please as when I click the edit icon in one of my posts, I can’t see where one can delete it (as stated in the site’s FAQ). Could be me being unobservant but any help gratefully received! I have emailed the site a couple of times but no reply yet. Many thanks.

Hi Crackers,

Apologies for the confusion, we have fixed the issue and there are now two different ways to the delete your own posts:

1. Once you have clicked on the edit icon, there is now a delete post option at the top of the page next to the title.

2.There is now an additional delete button on the topic page itself, you can click the X and this will ask to you confirm deletion of your post.

That’s great. Very useful to have this to e.g. delete ‘for sale’ posts when the item has gone.

Have just tried to delete a for sale post and it tells me I cannot delete posts in that forum. Is that right?
