Thousands of people peacefully protested after the death of George Floyd descended on the US Embassy for a Black Lives Matter rally this weekend.
They chanted for justice and took the knee in solidarity with Black Lives Matter.
Free masks, gloves and hand gel were given to the protestors at the US Embassy.
On Saturday, thousands of protesters had gathered in central London in a demonstration that was peaceful but that ended with small numbers of people clashing with mounted police near Prime Minister Boris Johnson's Downing Street residence. A total of 14 police officers were injured in the violence outside Downing street, with bikes, flares and bottles thrown by a "tiny minority" of protesters at around 7pm on Saturday.
Meanwhile in Bristol, protesters topped a statue of a 17th-century slave trader during a demonstration over the weekend.
