We are looking for a tutor to come to our house (socially distanced!) for a few hours a week and do School work with my 7 year old Y2 daughter. She is not behind, but has completely gotten out of a learning routine, and with no prospect of schools returning, we would like to get some regular learning done over the summer.

This is certainly something we can help with! I run a local tutoring agency, specialising in primary/ prep tuition.

We can offer 1:1 tuition. Our 1:1 tutors can come to your home to work with your daughter. Please note that at the moment the lessons would need to be conducted in a garden, whilst keeping a distance (the government rules do not permit face-to-face tutoring inside a home), however, I am confident that will change soon.

We also have group classes over Zoom. These are in small groups of 3-6 children. We cover English, maths, French, science and drama. The children love the groups, especially now, as they’re not getting much peer-to-peer interaction.

During the summer holidays we run revision courses. The first course is from the 6th-17th July, for three hours each morning, working on English and maths skills. The first course will be online, we are hoping the others will be face-to-face, however, the decision will be made based on what the parents would like. The courses are held at St Barnabas Church, Clapham Common North Side.
