recommendations for Spain or Majorca

Postby toptan » Thu Jun 25, 2020 1:01 pm

hello all. the hint of a travel bridges has got me excited about the possibility of a week away. thinking Spain or Majorca on the basis that it would be a very quick flight staying in a lovely hotel positioned on a beach in an area with a more laid back vibe versus party vibe but definitely with some life. We have 2 children early teens so watersports would be a plus.

Any ideas or recommendations for an area or a hotel would be fab!!

Here's hoping it can happen.

We were on Barcelona this March before quarantine. I liked this city. If you want to swim and walk you need to choose Barcelona....if you want only lie on the beach i think Majorca will be better.
We rented a flat on the Airbnb...if you want I can give you referral link  :D

The only hotel that I know in Majorca to be on a beach doesn't accept children but if you are ready to go more inland, there are some fabulous places.  We stayed at Son Brull a few years ago and it was really great. My brother stayed in Predi Son Jaumel, which is really close to a beach. The new Finca Mallorca looks quite lush too and Cal Reiet is a place where a colleague goes very often and adores.

You could also try Menorca where two new hotels have opened. Menorca is up and coming so doesn't have yet the crowds of Majorca but that will come.

Hope it helps

The country is conditionally divided into Northern and Southern Spain, although, like any state, Spain has administrative areas, for example, Andalusia, Seville, Granada, and others. In addition, there are coastal regions of the Costa Brava, Costa Dorada, where you can relax on the shores of the Mediterranean Sea. All the conditions for this are created by numerous hotels, private hotels, and motels. The structure of cafes, restaurants, shops, and grocery markets is also developed.

We can not say about the islands of Mallorca, Minorca, and Ibiza, so beloved by our compatriots. By the way, all of Europe is happy to spend their holidays and weekend there.

And the most amazing Spanish territory is the Canary Islands, where you can relax year-round, as they are in the tropics. Gran Canaria and Tenerife are the largest and most visited tourist destinations. So there is plenty to choose from.
