Toddlers' wedding outfit recommendations

Postby Dilydream » Thu Sep 01, 2011 9:14 am

Hello Ladies,

I am looking for inspiration for outfits for my one and two year olds to wear to my sister's wedding in a couple of weeks. I have ordered things from Boden and John Lewis but I do not feel that inspired by them. I have looked at all of the usual suspects (i.e. Trotters, JoJo etc) but I wanted to see if any of you had any gems to recommend.

I would like outfits that are not too expensive, look cute and can be worn again to birthday parties, a special lunch, Christmas etc. Any suggestions?

Thank you in advance

Brora also have some lovely things for autumn.

I actually bought a gorgeous new dress off Ebay for my Daughter to wear to a wedding. It's pink with flowers on it and it's absolutely gorgeous. Search Bonnie Jean it's an American Brand.

You could try Buissonnière, it's a Belgian brand, rather classic clothes, but they deliver to the UK. Clothes are not expensive and good quality, they have a seperate "ceremony" section on their website: www.buissonniere.com.

Good luck!

Girls or Boys?

They're not cheap, but Lizzie's on Webb's Rd (next to the newsagent) has some gorgeous children's clothes, as does Living Vintage on Wakehurst Rd...

Do monsoon still do wedding stuff? when I got married (eek actually over 6 yrs ago now) they had lovely little outfits for toddlers. (my 2 nephews wore comfy little navy velvet outfits from there, but they had pretty dresses for little girls too) They also did v. cheap wedding dresses. Not sure if they still do though. It wasn't in all their shops just some of the flagship ones.
