Kitchen Extension - Recommendations Please! Post Reply

Hi Everyone

We are looking to build a smallish (8-10sqm) kitchen extension to our ground floor flat. A few questions:

- we are leaseholders. Does anyone have experience with obtaining freeholder approval for such a project? Neighbours are all fine with the idea, so there shouldn’t be an issue with getting council permission.

- what’s a realistic budget for a nice finish? As far as we know, there aren’t any massively complicating factors involved that would hike up the cost.

- are there any building companies you would recommend?

We had a small kitchen extension done by R&M Lines 3 years ago, and were very pleased with the service, process and results. They're definitely not the cheapest but they really strove to give us exactly what we wanted.  Project manager Reuben was excellent.
