You seriously need to grow up, stop reading the daily mail, stop arrogantly and foolishly telling people to educate themselves, and toe the line. I’m wager you have zero scientific or medical background. I can’t imagine how tedious it must be being a scientist or doctor and having to put up with this tripe.
And while we are on the subject of masks, there are way too many people walking around without them. Exemptions are easy to get and frankly suffering from a “hidden disability” still doesn’t give you the right to stroll around unchecked putting others in danger. Outrageous. And wear a visor if you are seriously too disabled to wear a mask. Ridiculous and selfish.

If masks were that good why then are we all stuck in tire 4 and infection rates gone sky high people have Been wearing them since last year and no I'm not a troll !!!

Oh for heaven's just wear one and be done with it.  It won't harm you, and it may even save your - or someone else's - life.  And it may be seen by your fellow citizens as something helpful and responsible.

Think about this with cases so high a level. Maybe EVERY death is from the virus not just flu, old age ect?

Wearing a face mask is needed at this time.. I guess better than not wearing one.. If they wear them all over the world I guess we should too. I have been thinking about getting one of these shields too - they look like they protect the eyes too...

It's not my grandson that's said anything .I am the one who's said it you don't need qualifications to have your say my point is face masks do nothing but considering we now have another new virus you'll be wearing them for much longer happy days

@ronangel, @luvnyrick - it must be so exhausting always contradicting anything that anyone who knows what they are talking about says, but anyway I do hope you sleep well, without too many nightmares.

Someone we know died of COVID.  Basically over 3 - 4 days his lungs lost the ability to process oxygen and he slowly suffocated.  Not a nice way to die.  But don't worry, it's fake news.  It never occurs to us that if whoever he caught it from had been wearing a mask then perhaps he would still be alive.
