Having had personal experience with this nursery I would strongly discourage parents from sending their children here.
An ofsted rating of outstanding didn’t stop us from having an extremely poor experience which was ultimately very damaging to our child.

There is no other nursery in Battersea with as much outdoor space as the Somerset. We have been so lucky to have been able to send our children there, and it has been the most brilliant preparation for primary school.

The fact that it is an LA maintained nursery school (i.e. not making a profit or run to be someone's business), that is purpose built (it's huge!), and with the most brilliant staff who have all been there for aeons (no offence to any of them - but continuity and long-service of staff is so important in a nursery), has always impressed me. Everything the school do is so clearly centred around the best interests of the child.

There was never any question that we would send our children to the Somerset, and I couldn't be more delighted with their experience.
