Suggestions for low-maintenance houseplants?

Looking to add some greenery to my home - any suggestions for plants that are easy to look after?

Also looking for plant pot suggestions.

Take a look at Patch Plants website - useful info on there about which plants thrive in which types of conditions. Good place to start

I second Patch Plants. They have sections such as "unkillable" indoor plants etc. I have filled my house with plants based on the advice on their website and the majority have survived!!!
