SETTING UP A CROSS-BORDER WILL

Postby greybird » Sat Aug 28, 2021 1:17 pm

Hello,
My husband and I want to make our wills (something that we just kept putting off!)
However, here’s where I need your help:
We are a French/English couple with assets/interests in both countries. Therefore, ideally, we need a solicitor who is highly knowledgeable of French law or (even better) has a partner-practice in France - or even vice-versa.
Anybody know of anybody?
Obviously I have had a Google, but personal recommendations are always a plus.
Thank-you!

Hello:  The French Consulate-General in London should be able to offer a list of relevant lawyers who will be able to help you.

Russell Cooke solicitors in Putney (also in Holborn and Kingston) have an in-house specialist who deals with French law.  They've managed my parent's affairs including a property in France.  French Estate Planning & Wills Solicitors | Russell-Cooke | Russell-Cooke
