Garden Design company recommendations

Postby mumtoBB » Fri Mar 16, 2018 1:31 pm

Hello. Can anyone recommend a decent garden design/landscape company ? I would like to landscape and redesign our fairly small garden in SW11 - hopefully in time for summer! Thanks so much.

Hi, I'm a garden designer based in SW London and would be more than happy to have a look at your garden. My website is www.catdattagardendesign.com if you'd like to see some of my work. If you're interested, you can contact me through my website or through NappyValleyNet.
best wishes, Cat Datta

Hello, if you just need a planting scheme, I can do it for you and you get a gardener to plant everything where I'll tell him.
I have redone my garden entirely from scratch (removing most of the overgrown stuff, then re-planting to get year-round interest with a mix of evergreen and perrenials/annuals) which was c 1000sq ft.

We now moved to SW11 and I just re-did the planting of our small garden (no turf this time though), with again year-round interest and a white and green scheme. I will spread some new clean gravel, I ordered nice furniture, hanged some stringlights and added some others lampions and I should get a nice small boho-chic garden with a dinner and a chill area, without breaking the bank. A good clean and the right "accessories/plants" is enough.

I don't have photos for my current garden as it's not grown yet but you're welcome to come and have a look.
I do have photos for my previous one., let me know and I'll email.
Now's the good time to do it.

If you need landscaping etc then you'll need a proper company.
Good luck
Carolyn

Hello MumtoBB,

I do interior design (residential) and can advise on exterior decor re pots, planting to dress your house and garden. If I'm recommending a garden landscaper though, specifically.

Dan Pearson. Beautiful gardens both large and smaller.

Oh, I also recommend looking for inspiring ideas online before hiring a team to have an idea of how you would want your garden to look like. Also, don't forget to make it colorful and maintenance-friendly. I wish you luck, and please share with us the end results!
